One area of our business you may or may not be familiar with is our repairs. Did you know we have a sister company called Sontec Electronics Ltd? As well as our commercial logistics offering as Concorde Transport Services, we’ve been supplying and repairing the consumer electronics industry since 1985. Working in partnership with most leading brands, we have over 37+ years of experience in electronic repairs.
Our unique placement within both the electronics and logistics industries means we’re able to support our clients two-fold; by repairing electronic devices, and transporting them to and from customers’ homes or business stores.
Our ability to provide services for two distinct elements has led to relationships with major household names within the electronics industry.
Here’s how it works
An electronics brand, one that rhymes with Tamdung or Bamaha, let’s say… needs a faulty product collected from the customer’s home, in or out of warranty. Their systems & software work seamlessly with ours to calculate which journey, vehicle and driver are best suited to do so in a timely and cost-effective manner.
We collect and bring the item to our workshop for fixing, repair it, and once fixed, it makes its way back to the customer. If it can’t be fixed, a replacement is shipped out by us. A one-stop shop for the electronics industry.
A bespoke service we provide for one particular household electronics company, is to visit all their nationwide service centres on a regular basis and collect all used spare parts from domestic appliances. They are then returned to our warehouse in Norwich, sorted, palletised and collected by HGVs weekly for recycling.
And that’s not all…
Working directly with manufacturers, we can also provide call centre support, spare part supply and distribution, storage, and large or small-scale reworks.
Small-scale reworks are when a manufacturer has a product that needs modification; a new part needs to be fitted to all their stock, for instance. We’re able to do this as we have the ability to unload pallets, store the product, the expertise to fit it correctly on our site and then re-load them all for delivery.
