A story of client support & collaboration
A recent enquiry has led to a fantastic new client relationship with thanks to our team approach, bespoke service and efficient fulfilment system, Mintsoft.
With this software, we’re able to import our client’s delivery criteria and customer details seamlessly. It then creates a delivery schedule here at Concorde Transport Services which incorporates our current journeys and drivers. Efficiency and hassle-free logistics.
Simple input for intelligent output
EvenGreener approached us in June 2024 enquiring as to whether we could support them with distribution and logistics for their compost bins and water butts. Having taken the time to understand their business needs, wants and wishes, we of course knew we could help.
The larger items, and the quantity needing to be delivered, meant that they weren’t suitable for independent couriers. But, they wanted an element of control over their distribution, something you may not find with large-scale delivery companies. With us, they’re able to keep control of their product distribution and therefore customer satisfaction, while relinquishing the stresses of the logistics. Factoring in timescales, van space, schedule collaboration, current journeys and driver availability, our fulfilment system creates the most efficient distribution plan for their products, daily.
Covering Norfolk, Sussex, Essex and Cambridgeshire initially, our drivers and fleet of Luton vans, have been successfully delivering their items in relation to their work with local authorities; helping residents lead a greener lifestyle. Having built this client relationship, we are now looking to extend our coverage for them, delivering to more counties with additional products.
Here’s what a spokesperson for EvenGreener had to say:
“It’s always nerve-racking when introducing new delivery partners as our best-selling products are big, bulky and unboxed so a challenge for the more traditional e-commerce logistics solutions. More and more delivery companies are reducing their standard parcel sizes and increasing their charges by huge amounts for everything outside of that, which just doesn’t work for us with our large (but relatively low-cost) items.
The nature of our work with Local Authorities means we have high volumes of large products being delivered in the same areas which also doesn’t work for most of the national couriers who classify our items as ‘ugly’! Their networks and high-tech conveyer belts get clogged up and the ‘manual handling’ charges mount up.
Customer expectations are higher than they’ve ever been, especially for online sellers who are constantly being measured against the mighty Amazon. So, it’s important we choose partners who can get this final stage of the customer journey right. We’ve definitely gotten it wrong at times over the years!
I needn’t have worried though as John and the team have slotted into our network of delivery partners seamlessly. Despite all of the above challenges, deliveries are arriving quicker than ever and our customers are delighted with the service. We’re really pleased to have teamed up with Concorde Transport in 2024, and look forward to more of the same in future.”
Efficiency all round
The increased focus on the environmental impact we have as individuals, households, and businesses, has led the government and county councils to offer grants, discounts and a more in-depth education on the topic. You may have seen initiatives such as the ‘Water is precious’ campaign from South West Water, who send out flow-reducing attachments for your taps and leaky loo stickers. There have also been free water butts given out and smart metres installed for consumption tracking.

Organic Outcomes
Our relationship with EvenGreener has developed organically from a simple enquiry. We’ve both taken the time to understand what one another needs in order to work as seamlessly as possible. We knew exactly how our system would cut time, administration tasks and costs for them, and they now know how to easily update orders for us to deliver efficiently.
